Summer is here and your dog deserves a seat at the table. Literally.
We just launched The Summer Shop — our most coastal, most cheeky, most summer-ready lineup yet! And we think the best way to break in a new bandana is on a patio somewhere, cold drink in hand, dog at your feet.
So we did the research. Here are 25 of the best dog-friendly patios across Canada, city by city.

Toronto
1. Black Lab Brewing (Leslieville)
Named after the owners' beloved black lab Snoopy, this east-end brewery is basically built for dogs. Two patios, rotating food vendors on weekends, and staff who genuinely love your dog as much as you do. Dogs are not only welcome — you'll often see a dog's birthday party being celebrated here.
2. The Goodman Pub & Kitchen (Harbourfront)
This waterfront pub makes no bones about catering to a dog-friendly crowd, offering an entire "pawtio menu" for dogs — think Beef Hound Ale and peanut butter pupsicles. Views of the lake. Good vibes only.
3. The Bark Yard at Stackt Market (King West / Bathurst)
Toronto's first licensed dog park — a 4,800 square foot off-leash area with a bar right inside it, so dog parents can sip while their pups roam freely. Three separate patios across the market mean you can also grab beer, tacos, margaritas, or sangria while your dog explores. Yappy Hour runs daily from 4–6pm with cocktails for humans and free puppaccinos for dogs. It's less patio, more dog paradise — and honestly there's nowhere else like it in the country.
4. Henderson Brewing Company (Junction)
A stacked event calendar, rotating beers, and a patio right next to the West Toronto Railpath — walk the trail first, then settle in. The perfect summer Saturday.
5. Lazy Daisy's Cafe (Little India)
A dreamy sun-drenched patio with fenced-in secret garden vibes — servers genuinely love dogs, so you can tuck into breakfast knowing your dog feels right at home.

Vancouver
6. Local Public Eatery (Kitsilano)
A great street-side patio that's dog-friendly and just a short walk from the beach. Perfect post-park drinks with your pup. Kitsilano was made for this.
7. Brassneck Brewery (Main Street)
Dogs are allowed on the patio and it's a popular weekend stop for both beer fans and their four-legged sidekicks. Mount Pleasant is one of Vancouver's best dog neighbourhoods and this is its unofficial HQ.
8. Main Street Brewing Co. (Mount Pleasant)
A dog-friendly patio in the popular Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Relaxed, community-focused, and the kind of place where your dog will make three new friends before you finish your first pint.
9. The Boathouse Restaurant (Kitsilano)
Stunning ocean views, a patio that welcomes dogs, and the kind of setting where a new bandana basically photographs itself.
10. Mahony's Tavern (False Creek)
A beautiful dog-friendly patio in False Creek with reservations accepted until 5pm. Water access, good food, easy vibes.

Edmonton
